(18th) Beijing International Automotive Exhibition officially

kicked off at the China International Exhibition Center.

BAIC Group, with the theme “Craftsmanship Technology and

Quality BAIC” participated in the exhibition alongside its

subsidiaries BAIC, BAIC ARCFOX, Beijing Benz, and Beijing

Hyundai.

BAIC unveiled its magic core electric drive technology

and the electric versions of the BJ40 and BJ60. The “aristocratic

electric four-wheel drive light off-road SUV” BJ30 began presale.

ARCFOX S5 made its debut to the audience. The STELATO, jointly

developed by BAIC and Huawei, lifted its mysterious veil. Beijing

Hyundai's fifth-generation Santa Fe also made its first appearance.

BAIC has also set up a special technology exhibition area and a

patent wall at the auto show, displaying many industry-leading

technologies in the fields of electrification and intelligence, turning

this auto show into a concentrated showcase of craftsmanship

technology and quality automobile manufacturing.

“Electric Off-Road” Assembles,

ARCFOX S5 STELATO Makes a Stunning Debut

At the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi) Hall E4,

BAIC Group’s main booth will showcase 19 self-developed

products that represent BAIC's technology and quality during

the public open days. The lineup includes the ARCFOX S5,

ARCFOX T5, KOLA, STELATO, BJ30 electric drive version,

all-new BJ40, BJ60 electric drive version, MARS pickup truck, etc.

On the opening day, BAIC held a press conference titled “Driving Electric, Igniting the Future” to provide an in-depth interpretation of their magic core electric drive technology. The event also marked the debut of the BJ60 electric version and the all-new BJ40 electric version.

The entire BJ30 series officially kicked off its presale, featuring the exclusive magic core 1.5T electric drive engine. Paired with a segment-unique front and rear dual-drive motor setup, the BJ30 boasts an impressive from 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of just 6 seconds.

The electric four-wheel drive system responds in a mere 0.03 seconds, enabling seamless switching between two-wheel and four-wheel drive modes. With a combined fuel consumption of 6.45 liters per 100 kilometers and a total driving range exceeding 1,000 kilometers, the BJ30's starting price of RMB 119,900 solidifies its title as the “King of Value for Money in the Wild”.

BAIC’s other brand-new product, the high-performance pure electric sedan ARCFOX S5, has started presales and made its debut at the auto show. With an ultra-low automobile wind resistance coefficient of 0.1925, this car breaks the record for the lowest automobile wind resistance coefficient among mass-produced automobiles worldwide. Equipped with the fourth-generation Jifeng power system, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds.

The automobile boasts a body torsional rigidity of 51,897 N·m/deg, ensuring top-notch safety standards. It also features an 800 V ultra-high voltage charging platform, delivering a performance that rivals million-dollar supercars. Additionally, the highly anticipated new model jointly developed by BAIC and Huawei, the STELATO S9, which is another masterpiece by BAIC Group in the new energy field, made a stunning appearance and became one of the most eye-catching models at this auto show.

The fifth-generation Hyundai Santa Fe is set to make its debut ahead of its upcoming launch in Beijing. The all-new model breaks away from the traditional Santa Fe design, showcasing a rugged yet tech-savvy style. It features a dual 12.3-inch curved display that seamlessly integrates the instrument cluster and infotainment system. The automobile is equipped with the latest generation of the ccNc car operating system, which supports wireless CarPlay, Bluelink digital key, and other advanced functions.

hosted a technology salon to provide an in-depth interpretation

The independently developed Polestar pure electric high-end flagship platform deeply integrates the Mercedes-Benz luxury rear-wheel drive platform’s homologous design in engineering and module development with the brand-new framework of the Darwin 2.0 technology system.

The Magic core electric drive super off-road platform, specifically designed for all-terrain off-roading, creates the ultimate “electric off-road” solution. The powerful and durable motor system, α-power, demonstrates the ultimate motor performance. The Aurora Battery maintains a record of zero spontaneous combustion since its delivery, providing all-weather, all-terrain safety protection in three extreme scenarios: battery bottoming out, heavy rain and flooding, and high-temperature self-ignition.

As one of the first enterprises in the industry to integrate

large AI models into automobiles, BAIC has brought large

AI models that support AIGC functions, active learning,

and human-like conversations to the exhibition booth.

These models can answer questions such as

“Which car models are worth paying attention to at the auto show?”

BAIC is committed to being the first to introduce

humanoid robots into the automobile production and

manufacturing process.

This time, the AI humanoid robot employees also came to the booth,

transforming into presenters and interacting with the audience.
