
BAIC Grand Entry into Indonesia Market
This first launch ceremony is of great significance,
as it marks BAIC's successful entry into the Indonesian market for the first time.

On May 14th, BAIC Indonesia First Launch Ceremony
was grandly held at the BAIC showroom in Jakarta,
Indonesia. This first launch ceremony is of great
significance, as it marks BAIC's successful entry into
the Indonesian market for the first time. Indonesia, as the
largest economy in Southeast Asia and the largest automobile
market, serves as a cornerstone for BAIC's expansion into the
Southeast Asian market. This ceremony is a strong testament
to BAIC's acceleration towards internationalization.

Mr Chen Wei, Vice General Manager of BAIC Group, Chairman of BAIC Motor,
along with Indonesian partner JHL Group Chairman and Founder Mr. Jerry,
Indonesian House of Representatives Chairman Mr. Bambang Soesatyo,
and Senior Advisor to the President Mr. Aris attended the ceremony.
He expressed that Indonesia is a vibrant and potential-rich land.
As the world's fourth most populous country and the largest automotive
consumer in Southeast Asia, Indonesia has ranked highly in various economic
indicators in recent years, with per capita purchasing power increasing year by year.
BAIC is confident in the Indonesian market and has elevated its strategic importance, giving high priority to the Indonesian market. This year, we will work with JDI company to accelerate the establishment of sales and service networks throughout Indonesia,
while simultaneously advancing local KD assembly construction. In the future,
BAIC will join hands with JDI company to cooperate and win-win, providing Indonesian consumers with more diverse and higher quality choices, and winning the recognition and favor of Indonesian and even Southeast Asian consumers with quality products and services.
On the morning of May 15th, Mr Chen Wei visited and listened to the introduction by Triani, the head of the Indonesian assembly plant, and tour the assembly production line and listen to the report on the Beijing Automotive Indonesia assembly project.
