BAIC officially entered the Uzbekistan market together
with Hongwen Automobile Group, its national general agent in Uzbekistan
On Sep. 13th, 2024, BAIC ushered in another milestone moment. After nearly half a year of preparation, BAIC officially entered the Uzbekistan market together with Hongwen Automobile Group, its national general agent in Uzbekistan, and the opening ceremony of SUNSHINE MOTORS, the first BAIC 4S store was held grandly. This event not only marked another major breakthrough for BAIC in its international market layout, but also highlighted the important position of the Uzbekistan market in its global strategy.

Deputy General Manager Zhao Pengfei of BAIC International, Chairman Li Lihong of Hongwen Automobile Group, Shareholder Representative Damir Kakiyev of SUNSHINE MOTORS, General Manager Турсунов Саиджон Соибжонович of SST MOTORS, General Manager Хамракулов Улугбек of TREND PREMIUM MOTORS, and Deputy General Manager Саидахмедов Акромхужа of ORIENT MOTORS jointly attended the opening ribbon-cutting ceremony. At the same time, four models, i.e. BJ30, ALL NEW X7 , U5 PLUS, and X55II, were unveiled on the spot.
Subsequently, Shen Zhanjun, the Sales Director of BAIC International, conferred the title of national general agency upon SUNSHINE MOTORS, a subsidiary of Hongwen Automobile Group, marking the official commencement of the cooperation between the two parties in Uzbekistan. This authorization will lay a solid foundation for BAIC's market expansion in Uzbekistan.
It is worth noting that at the opening ceremony, SUNSHINE MOTORS signed Uzbekistan dealer authorization agreements with SST MOTORS, ORIENT MOTORS, and TREND PREMIUM MOTORS, thereby further expanding BAIC’s sales network.
