Doha, Qatar – November 20, 2024 – At the ARAB CAR OF THE YEAR 2024 Awards Ceremony held at THE CHEDI KATARA HOTEL & RESORT in Doha, Qatar, BAIC, after 24 years of continuous market penetration, brand promotion, and strengthening of product features, was honored with the prestigious award.

Among various categories, the BAIC BJ30 won the Arab 2024 Best Hybrid SUV award, while the BAIC BJ60 took home the Arab 2024 Best Seven-Seater SUV Award.

The Arab Car of the Year (ARABCOTY) is one of the most prestigious automotive awards in the Middle East. ARABCOTY holds an annual celebration to honor the best cars in terms of automotive technology, design, and innovation, evaluated and judged by an independent panel of world-class automotive journalists, who reach a consensus on the final award winners.

The ARABCOTY awards cover nearly all vehicle categories, from sedans and sports cars to SUVs and MPVs, with selections based on four key criteria: design, performance, safety, and technology.
