Challenging Guinness World Records™: BAIC Provides Full Support for Qatar’s 180 km Extreme Trail Run
An extreme trail run aimed at setting a new Guinness World Record™ was recently held in Qatar. Elite athletes Nasreddin Mansour and Biha Rouine attempted to run non-stop for over 180 kilometers, traversing from Qatar’s southernmost to northernmost points, with a target completion time of 30 hours. BAIC served as the main partner, providing comprehensive support throughout the challenge.

Just as the BJ40 conquers diverse rugged terrains with its hardcore performance, this challenge pushed beyond both physical and mental comfort zones as the athletes conquered sand, rocks, and raw natural environments across Qatar’s vast landscape.
“This trail journey was filled with unknowns and hardships, but BAIC’s unwavering trust enabled us to transform our ambitious vision into reality”, said Nasreddin Mansour after the race. Biha Rouine added, “Running nearly 200 kilometers off-road tests not just muscle strength, but willpower. BAIC’s robust support proves that monumental challenges require solid backing”.

The challenge route consisted primarily of off-road paths, including remote trails, desert tracks, and unpaved surfaces—making this not just a record-breaking attempt, but one of the region’s most demanding endurance events to date.
To ensure the challenge proceeded smoothly and met Guinness World Records™’ stringent certification standards, BAIC provided crucial logistical support, including safety teams, real-time tracking, hydration stations along the route, and comprehensive official documentation throughout the event.

The event captured widespread attention from local Qatari media, influencers, fitness enthusiasts, and the general public. The official Guinness World Records™ certification results are currently under review and will be announced in the coming days.
